Apple has released the new generation of AirPods with spatial audio and a smoothly curved design on 18 October 2021. Water resistance and prolonged battery life are the most anticipated features.
Ergonomic Design for Your Ears
Apple recently introduced their all-new design for AirPods 3, which enhances its comfort for people and integrates the merits of the old AirPods. This time, the new design for the Airpods is lightweight and has the right angle to direct the sound into our ears. Although they look very similar to AirPods Pro, the stem is shorter than the previous one.
However, for those whose ears are small, Airpods 2 might be more suitable for them since the size of Airpods 3 earphones could be too big for them according to ETtoday. There are also grilled black speakers and mics for each earbud. The most exciting feature of the novel design of AirPods 3 is anti-sweat protection.
Brilliant Audio Experience
Airpods (3rd generation) feature their improved sound quality compared to Apple’s past products. The dynamic amplifier presents the highest and lowest parts of the sound clearly and the microphone is designed to reduce the noise from outside, providing a better listening experience. The AAC-ELD, a superior speech codec, has said to provide high HD voice quality and clear communication of calls.
Moreover, the new AirPods can automatically adapt to the user’s ear with the sound interference by the Adaptive EQ. For a top-notch listening experience, the latest AirPods serve vivid sounds with Dolby Atmos, which makes users feel like they are in a theater. This function makes sure users can feel more immersed when using apps that require audio services.
iOS and iPadOS Enhance AirPods
With iOS 15 and iPadOS 15, the third generation of Airpods will provide users with high-quality experiences. Through dynamic head tracking and spatial audio, the sound is perceived directly from the screen where there is a FaceTime call so that it seems everyone is assembled together at the same place. Secondly, Siri can help notify time-sensitive notifications, such as those from Messages, Reminder, Calendar, calls, and other API apps. What if the AirPods or other Apple devices were missing? AirPods can connect to Find My app and Lost Mode, show their location if they are near any of a user’s Apple devices, and play sounds or alerts to help the user find them.
